Photo Inspiration

So last year I failed miserably at this. But thats ok Im going to try again and take it with a grain of salt. If I miss a day or mess up so what? Ive gotten some anyway and Im going to shoot for more. So missing a day is not going to stop me this year. I will just compromise and do something a bit different for days I miss. I also thought that just posting once a week would work better for me than every day. Im not so sure that was a good idea. I tried to get this done last night but computer issues kept that from happening. So take a ride with me as I go through this project by the seat of my pants lol
Im also putting some links to the side in case you are interested in reading up on this project or seeing some others do their projects.

Ive been crazy busy lately so I havent had time to actually post my pictures. So Im going to use this post to catch back up.

DAY 10:

DAY 11:
We spent the weekend working on the house. Trying to find a way to keep us warm without shooting up our electric bill any more so we dont have to take out a loan just to pay it! Anyway on this day we got a whole new floor laid complete with 3 extra layers.


DAY 12:
I almost forgot to take a picture on this day. So I snapped this one real quick, this is what my living room looks like almost every single day. Covered in crayons, books and barbie dolls lol


DAY 13:
I got this picture first thing this morning. Thought some mind find this one unique. Its hard to find drinks in glass bottles anymore unless its a yoohoo. This is my absolute favorite drink in the world. Its a mix of ginger ale and a bunch of other stuff. Its made in Kentucky and isnt even available state wide. It has been bought out by Coca Cola so maybe someday it will expand to state and maybe even nationwide!

To make a long story short, today totally was not my day. Ok no, it just totally SUCKED! It started with my mp3 player Blaine just got for me, gone. Its dead, no life at all. nothing, nada!
Then everything started falling apart. What I didnt break on accident and in turn broke on purpose because I lost my cool. It just sucked so I almost even forgot to take a picture today. I snapped a cute one and now Im off to put an end to this pitful excuse for a day!

Today I thought Id show you one of my many many passions. I absolutely LOVE to read. I have ever since I was able to sound out words. I would assume youve seen quite a few pictures of books but I tried to give you "my view". One of my goals for this year was to find time to read, not much. Just 1 chapter per day. I finally started that today, always a day late and a dollar short but still Im getting there. Those of you that read a lot or even a little know theres just some books that you can be pulled in by the first couple pages and then you hate to put it down, you just want to keep reading. That was the case with the last book I read "The Kill Clause" by Gregg Hurwitz I have found it very hard to have a book capture me the way that one did. So after picking up many and stopping after a couple chapters I thought I would try another and see how it went. So Ive started "The Cellar" by Richard Laymon. So far its not bad, its not completely sucked me in yet like Greggs book did but Im going to continue. Anyhow, heres the picture from today of my new book!

Not too eventful again today. Funny how I always have a whole list of things to do each day that I can never possibly have everything checked as done, yet I never have anything interesting to talk about! Oh well things happen I guess.

Due to his work schedule Blaine has to be in bed very early, even before the kids. So each night the kids are sure to pile up in bed with him as he gets ready to go to sleep. They say goodnight, then give hugs and kisses. Its a routine, every single night. So thats todays picture, Kelsey & Blaine with their nightly routine its always nice to see his softer side! shh dont tell him I said that lol

Today was pure chaos. Spent almost all of it doing errands and taking care of things that I had been putting off. Got the pantry and fridge restocked. The kids are actually pretty pleased, absolutely no junk foods were brought in! Im shocked they didnt throw a fit. I think a lot of it had to do with the stockpile of bananas and strawberries and such I have to make them smoothies! lol
Not too shabby for a day that started off all wrong. 7:23 am I am finally woke up by the alarm clock, a full hour late. I quickly scramble to get Courtney up and dressed, irritated with myself for not being able to sleep last night and thinking I now have to pack up her and Kelsey and make the 3 mile hike to school. That is sooooo fun NOT!
7:26 I have Courtney dressed and completely ready for school and shes now waiting on the bus which shows up at 7:29. Boy was that a close call!
She comes home this afternoon, bouncing off the bus. So I grabbed the camera and snapped a shot. Started looking through the papers and such she brought home, and I have a note from her teacher. A few months back I had a meeting with her teacher, Courtney is in the top part of her class and doing extremely well. So well in fact the teacher (who I went to school with myself) thought she was starting to get bored. She discussed with me my opinion of her tightening up Courtneys homework to make it a bit more challenging for her. The note from her today stated that she is now starting Courtney on those harder assignments and wants my feedback at the end of the week on how I think she took to it. So far so good, she went through it like it was nothing. So proud of her!
